Previous ECR research has shown that 60% of inventory records in a store are inaccurate; this new research investigates the potential impact picking errors at the DC contributes to this problem, and the range of approaches and technologies that retailers are adopting to measure, deliver and improve DC pick accuracy.

Group discussion will focus on the extent to which organisations have been able to determine the impact of DC picking on the inaccuracies of inventory records in stores? Is there energy/a business case for change in your organisation? If yes, which of the approaches and technologies outlined in this study do you think your organisation should look to test/adopt?
