Staff Dishonesty: Exploring The Role of Communications
Date and Time:
Sept 23rd - 1pm UK
Location:
Virtual
23 Sep 1:00 PM
Organisers:
Professor Emmeline Taylor, St Georges University
Description

"You cannot apprehend your way out of staff dishonesty" - in fact, as our new report (click here) highlights, at best, retailers are likely only to be able to detect, investigate and close staff dishonesty cases that make up just about circa two percent of the total staff dishonesty problem.
In this meeting, Professor Emmeline will make the case for new, upweighted and then ongoingly refreshed communications around staff dishonesty, with inspiration for new creative campaigns drawn from a collaboration between five retailers and Marketing Masters students from Loughborough Business School.
Expect to hear about the crime prevention theories that support the case for staff dishonesty communications, the case study results, for example, one retailer has measured a 15% reduction in shrink from the deployment of a "you're being watched" advertising campaign. Finally, expect to learn about the key lessons on deploying a new staff dishonesty communication strategy, when to deploy who needs to be involved, where can you search for creativity, how do you plan the launch, across what different forms of media, etc.
This meeting is for retailers, CPG's and academics only.
