The working group has previously heard from retailers, including IKEA as to how they were leveraging machine learning and computer vision to improve scan accuracy and reduce walkways at the fixed self-checkout. In this session, we will get updates from IKEA and other retailers on the progress made, and discus as a group our combined learnings on the role of technology to increase participation and reduce losses at the self-checkout.
