Investing in video, video analytics, body worn cameras, etc, requires that those leading the video work and making the recommendations to the CFO prepare a solid business case. However, the numbers each retailer creates based off their own data can be challenged, often with the question from the CFO, are these just what we think? Are there not some external standards out there for the financial benefit of (say) deterring a thief?

This meeting will seek to explore and start the journey towards creating a set of accepted standards that can help those leading video investments present to their CFO a set of aggregated data points.

Examples could include a standard for calculating the financial benefit of deterring a thief, or the same but for an employee.
