How Shelf Images from Robots Can Grow Sales, Compliance and Improve Productivity?
Date and Time:

Description

Nothing frustrates shoppers more than an empty shelf, and with pressure on reducing store labour costs, can a robot detect gaps faster and reliably than humans? Can they also instruct humans to check the back room and replenish if any found, or, if not found, instruct the system to auto-correct the inventory record and send in replenishment stock without the need for a human?
In this meeting, we will hear how retailers are beginning to use images, from shelf cameras, mobile cameras, cameras in drones and robots to grow sales, compliance and improve productivity.
The meeting will start with a case study review from Schnucks who now have robots deployed in over 200 stores. They will share how robots have become part of the daily store routines, and how they built the business case. Spoiler alert. It was about more sales!
After the Schnucks presentation, we will hear from other retailers and their learnings to date on the use of robots, drones, shelf cameras and video to more completely identify shelf gaps, at less cost but with increased frequency to grow sales and margin.
This meeting is for retailers, CPG's and academics only.
