Removing Upstream Loss

by Brad Fiala, Target Stores

Description

How much of unknown loss is caused by causes upstream outside the control of store managers? For example, an item is set up as a case of 100 but the store is shipped and invoiced as a case of 10. In this session, Brad, from Target Stores USA, will share how they have developed a formalised approach to ‘catch’ this type of error.

The group discussion will focus on the extent to which other organisations have formalised their approach to identifying and dealing with the causes of loss that happen upstream and outside the control of store managers? What takeaways can you act on from these retailer presentations?
