A recommendation from the ECR research on Inventory Record Accuracy was to increase the frequency of counting, especially on items that matter most. In this session, we will learn how Waitrose has created a business case for increasing the frequency of counting, where the extra cost is offset by the ensuing profit from the associated sales uplift.
The group discussion will focus on how other organisations have reapplied the recommendations to increase count frequency, and whether or not there was a business case for the investment and their takeaways from the retailer presentation.
