Description

For decades, retailers have invested in POS Exception Based Reporting (EBR) tools to help them detect staff dishonesty cases by setting up rules such as, and by way of example, unusual refunds, frequent voids, high-value or excessive refunds/discounts, unauthorized price overrides, etc.
Yet, our research suggests that retailers are "detecting" just two percent of all staff dishonesty cases. Click here. How can new ways of deploying EBR increase the detection rate?
In this meeting we will hear from retailers in the group and explore the new approaches and new rules retailers are using to increase their staff dishonesty detection rate. Innovations that recognise the changing retail operation context, such as the increasing use of self-checkout, the growth of online orders being picked from the store, the increase in returns and refunds for products sold online but returned to the store.
Further, we will explore video and POS integration, and the different ways retailers are helping to support case development centrally Vs locally, whereby the local LP specialist or the store manager would be responsible for building their own cases.
Expect to hear from retailers and their very latest thinking in the use of EBR tools.
This meeting is for retailers, CPG's and academics only.
