Description

Automating & Augmenting the Shelf Gap Scanning Processes

Current processes for checking for gaps on shelves are time consuming, prone to error and infrequent, with near zero visibility as to whether the gap scans themselves have actually happened or not.

New technology and data analytics have the potential to automate and augment the current gap scanning processes.

With support from the academic team (Paul Chapman, Daniel Corsten and Tom Gruen), we will hear in this meeting from retailers who have deployed robots, drones, cameras and data science techniques to deliver new ways to improve OSA, faster and at less cost.

The group will then discuss and agree the key learning points from these deployments.

This meeting is for retailers, brand owners and academics only.
