Rakesh Allu is a PhD student in Operations Managements at Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. His recent research has studied the impact of changes in government policies on reducing leakages in distribution of food in India. Prior to his research career, he was a consultant with Deloitte’s Strategy and Operations and HSBC’s network analysis divisions. His experience, both as a researcher and otherwise, primarily involved generating actionable insights for organizations through analysis of large datasets. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Indian School of Business and a Bachelors in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.
