Description
Smartway is on a mission is to stop food waste within the food retail industry, using AI. They use AI solutions to guide in-store teams to detect products approaching the expiry date and decide to recycle them as well as automatically print a discounted label to sell each product. It also facilitates food donation, enabling supermarkets to reduce food and non-food wastage. They benefit retailers by making stock inventory more efficient, gaining financial benefit and enabling discounts for consumers. Smartway’s AI technology is continuously improving, providing a full range of food waste saving solutions for retailers. Originating in France, they've worked with Intermarché, Super U and other retailers. They're now looking to work abroad.- France
