Infratab, Inc. makes smart sensors and software whose purpose is to monitor, track, and trace the condition of perishable items. Freshtime enables retailers to test, fine-tune, validate and audit the temperature and freshness of their product at any time. The system collects data and enables users to confidently use this data to take real-time decisions around logistics, stock management and pricing. Freshtime uses a point-based system. Their simple idea is that a product's life start at 100 and ends at 0, allowing retailers to understand and communicate shelf-life as a percentage of life used and left. This can then be converted into days or hours for individual products. Freshtime is based on patent-protected RF technology, allowing it to be integrated with other RFID systems.- Los Angeles
