Understanding the number of customers walking into a store, which sections they visit, the products they peruse and purchase, together with transaction data, can provide retailers with unique and powerful data to help them grow sales (something which online retailers have been undertaking for some time). It is no surprise then that Amazon have now developed their Store Analytics capability for their own Amazon Go and Amazon Fresh stores and made it available to their vendors to enable them to gain detailed aggregated data on customer shopping behaviours.

In this session, we will hear from retailers who are at the forefront of developing these video-based capabilities and the lessons learnt on accuracy, impact, and return on investment.
