In this session, retailers and a brand owner will share case studies on new technology interventions on high theft products that have helped to better serve the shopper with open sales, while at the same time protecting the product from theft, especially from so called ‘professional thieves’.
The group discussion will focus on how other organisations have looked at this same dilemma, have they tried non-technology approaches, have they used different technology or indeed trialled the technologies shared by the speakers. Did they have similar findings? What are some alternative interventions that other organisations are considering? Finally, the group will discuss what they see as gaps or technology ideas that are currently not being addressed by the current providers.
