Description

Engaging Law Enforcement on LP - What does it take?

This working group consists of over 50 retailers operating across four continents and in over forty countries. In many of these countries, the retailers in the group report that they are highly dissatisfied with the current level of engagement from law enforcement, however, others report it differently, and express a high level of satisfaction. This session will explore how those retailers reporting positively on the engagement of law enforcement, seeking to understand their context, the barriers they removed to get that support, and the interventions they implemented (reporting, cases on a plate, lobbying, financial, etc) to "enable" that more productive and collaborative working partnership. The group will then discuss the findings, and seek out any takeaways or learning points for those retailers in markets where support from law enforcement sits below expectations.
